Indoor rowing is a win-win: it is a total-body workout that is also low impact.  You’ll strengthen major muscle groups in your arms, legs, and core and increase your cardiovascular endurance. And you’ll do so without added stress on your joints. But technique matters!  Our expert instructors break down the mechanics of the stroke, focusing on form and technique to maximize fitness benefits and prevent injury. They will help you be comfortable on the indoor rower and learn how to use the damper settings effectively.  You will train on state-of-the-art Concept 2 Indoor Rowers with our instructors guiding you through great workouts, including short intervals and lower-intensity, longer “steady state” sessions. 

You can vary your training by using the stationary bicycle. We have several Concept 2 BikeErgs, the latest innovation from the makers of the Indoor Rower. The bike is also a highly effective low-impact exercise. Our instructors will lead you through a variety of workouts to improve your conditioning and strength.

Class sessions include skill development, warm up, workout, and cool down.

This class is targeted to intermediate-level as well as advance-level participants.
